Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TrekLoad Pty Ltd ("TrekLoad", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you use the TrekLoad website, TrekLoad Driver iOS app and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile details, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details and login identifiers.
- Transport and marketplace information you enter, such as bookings, routes, pickup and drop-off details, driver notes, invoices, receipts and job records.
- Files or images you choose to upload, including receipt images, profile images and documents.
- Location information when you choose to use a feature that needs it, such as route tools or live trip sharing.
- Device, diagnostic and usage information used to operate, secure and improve the service.
- Subscription status and transaction identifiers from Apple and RevenueCat. TrekLoad does not receive your full Apple payment-card details.
- Physical transportation-payment status from Stripe when a passenger transportation payment is processed. TrekLoad does not store full payment-card details.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, manage your account, deliver requested features, process subscriptions and transportation payments, support customers, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations and improve TrekLoad.
3. AI-assisted features
When you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, selected content is sent to Google's Gemini service for processing only after you have given your explicit permission in the app. This can include text, receipt images, booking details or route details needed for the feature you requested, and may contain personal details such as a client's name, phone number, email or pickup/drop-off addresses. Google processes this content to extract the requested details and return them to the app; we send only what you choose to scan, paste or upload. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in the app and enter details manually instead. Do not submit information that you do not have permission to process.
4. Service providers
We use service providers where needed to operate TrekLoad, including Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Google Maps, Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, Twilio and infrastructure or storage providers. We share only the minimum information needed for each feature or service, and we use only providers that are bound by privacy and security obligations that protect your information to a standard equal to or stronger than the protections described in this policy.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to provide a feature you request, operate and secure TrekLoad, comply with law, or protect users and the public. Marketplace and trip-sharing features share information with the people you choose or with the intended participants in that feature.
6. Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting and security obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can review and update many account details in TrekLoad. You can stop optional location sharing from the relevant feature. In the TrekLoad Driver iOS app, open Settings, then App Privacy & Account to delete your account in-app. To request access or correction of your personal information, contact us at info@trekload.com. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.
8. Children
TrekLoad is intended for professional drivers, operators and adults. It is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
